This call started when a customer noticed roaches showing up near the kitchen and bathroom.
At first, they only saw one or two. That can make it easy to think it is a small problem, but with roaches, a few sightings can sometimes mean there is more activity hiding nearby.
When we inspected the property, we checked the areas where moisture, food access and shelter were most likely to support roach activity. That usually means kitchens, bathrooms, drains, cabinets and hidden spaces.

Roaches were finding places where they could hide and travel.
In this property, the main activity was around moisture areas, food-related spaces and small cracks where roaches could stay hidden. Roaches do not need much space to move through a property, and once they find food and moisture, the problem can grow quickly.
That is why cleaning alone may not solve the issue if roaches still have access to hiding spots, moisture and entry points.

For this service, we started by finding where the roaches were active.
We inspected kitchen areas, bathroom areas, cabinet spaces, baseboards, cracks, appliance areas, drains and other hidden spots where roaches may travel or nest.
Once we identified the active areas, we created a treatment plan focused on those problem zones. We also explained the prevention steps that would help reduce the chance of future activity.
The goal was not just to treat what was visible. The goal was to reduce the conditions that were helping the roaches stay active.
After treatment, the customer had a better understanding of where the roach activity was coming from and what needed to be corrected.
Roach problems can feel stressful, especially when activity is found in kitchens, bathrooms or food spaces. But once the issue is identified and treated properly, the situation becomes much easier to manage.

Keep food sealed tightly.
Clean crumbs, spills and grease quickly.
Take trash out regularly.
Do not leave pet food out overnight.
Keep cabinets and storage areas organised.
Fix leaks and reduce moisture where possible.
Seal cracks and small gaps where possible.
Clean behind appliances when accessible.

Seeing one roach does not always mean there is a major infestation, but it should not be ignored.
Roaches often stay hidden until the activity grows. If you are seeing roaches during the day, or seeing them regularly in the same rooms, it is a good idea to have the issue inspected.
The earlier the problem is handled, the easier it is to bring under control.

Roach problems can feel uncomfortable, but they can be addressed with the right plan.
If you are seeing roaches in your kitchen, bathroom, storage areas or business space in Chubbuck & South Eastern Idaho, Moxie Pest Control can help inspect the issue and recommend the next step.
