The following is a collection of questions addressing common questions about our pest control service. If you have additional questions, please contact us
and we'll be happy to answer them for you.
Which pests are most dangerous?
Hobo spiders, black widow spiders, mice, and wasps/hornets normally pose the greatest health risks. If evidence of these pests is present at your residence, pest control treatment is highly recommended.
Am I required to sign up for a service agreement?
Though recommended, it is not necessary to sign a service agreement. One-time sprays and treatments are also available.
Does Moxie Pest Control service businesses, too?
Yes, Moxie Pest Control happily services both residential and commercial properties.
Can my home be serviced if it is raining?
Yes, the product we apply to the perimeter of your property is mixed with water and becomes active once dried. Rain will not lessen the effectiveness of the treatment. We also use water-activated granules, in which case rain is beneficial.
What if I have a problem between treatments?
Any problems between treatments, inside or outside, will be re-serviced free of charge for any customer with a service protection plan.
How long do I have to be out of my home before I can return?
In most cases it is not necessary to leave your home at all. Most products usually dry within 20–30 minutes after application. Avoiding unnecessary contact with the treated areas before drying has completed is generally the only precaution.
Is the spray safe for children and pets?
Yes, our products are safe around your children and pets. The majority of our products are the same products used to spray hospitals, kennels, and restaurants. As an added precaution, our technician will inquire about any special health concerns or pets you may have.
Will the spray leave a film or residue?
No, all products we use are safe and leave no film or residue.
